Varsity Girls Soccer Wins Against St. Charles High [Photo Gallery]

On Friday, March 20, the varsity girls’ soccer team had their first match of the season against St. Charles High. Starting the first half, the Knights had a lead over the Pirates with a goal scored by Junior Claire Brightwell. The Pirates ended up tying the game before halftime, with the score being 1-1. Going into the second half, the Knights took the lead again with a goal scored by Senior Amari Jones. Junior Lexi Lohnes extended the lead shortly after, giving the Knights a two-goal advantage, making the score 3-1. Junior Claire Brightwell gave the Knights the last goal of the game, making it a 4-1 win for the Knights. (Photos by: Kaylin Mort)
