On April. 6, the C-Team baseball boys went against the Liberty Eagles in an away game. The Knights added their first point to the scoreboard in the first inning, with Freshman Gavin LaBeau being the one to make the first run. In the 4th inning the Eagles made two runs, changing the scoreboard to 2-1 with the Knights trailing behind. In the 5th inning, the Eagles added another three runs to their scoreboard, creating a bigger gap between them and the Knights with 5-1. Going into the 6th inning the Knights were able to make another two runs, and the game ended with a score of 6-3 Eagles. Freshman catcher, Balen Diers felt the game went decently although they could have done better in making more plays and hitting the ball more. “We should have had a few more plays made… people should hit [the ball] more and make more plays,” Diers said.
