On May 1, the Varsity baseball team went against the Timberland Wolves in a home game. The Knights took the lead of the game in the first inning 4-1 and during the second inning the Knights scored 5 more points, changing the scoreboard 9-1. The scoreboard stayed the same during the third inning with neither teams making any points. Timberland then made 4 points during the 4th inning to change the scoreboard to 9-5. During the 5th inning, Timberland got in the lead with 11-9, and stayed like that throughout the 6th inning. The Knights were able to add one last point to the scoreboard in the 7th inning, losing the game 11-10. Senior Tyler Sutterer felt the team started off good, although there are definitely things they could do differently for the next game. “We started off good, and then didn’t do so good. We have to keep our heads in the game,” said Sutterer.
