The 2026 spring track and field season came to an end at the end of last week with the state tournament. Lots of the athletes have been able to look back on something to be very proud of, given all the work they have put in since March. With many upperclassmen returners on the roster this year, it brought a stronger desire to work harder during the season to see the amazing results that come with all the hard work put in.
“The best part of the season is getting to run races, and to have that feeling back is so great again.” Junior and sectional qualifier Chloe Duncan said.
Three school records were also broken this year. Hudson Rowatt in the 100 meter with a time of 10.73 seconds and Trenton Hummel in the 200 meter with a time of 21.72 seconds. Along with the girls’ 4×1 relay with a time of 49.39 seconds.
