Sumi Chen, Web
Sumi Chen is a senior at Francis Howell North and is currently involved with the journalism program as the web staff for the 2019-2020 school year. She is also involved in marching band as the flute section leader, a member of HOSA, and a member of NHS. Outside of school, Chen swims for a club swim team. Chen has auditioned and gotten into the Metro District 8 band, she has also gotten into solo and ensemble state. This past year Chen has competed in HOSA Internationals as well as Winter Guard Internationals. This will be her first year in web staff, previously she has taken photojournalism. She enjoys shooting photos as well as editing videos for the marching band vlog, KnightPride Vlogs. Chen joined publication to learn how to improve shooting photos, shooting videos, and editing. In the future, she plans on majoring for Pharmaceuticals in college.
