Winning three of their nine games and keeping a close score with several of the other games, some of the members of the varsity Knight’s football team believe they had a pretty good season overall.

“[The season] came out to a slow start but we ended up playing as a team,” senior Andrew Richart

said. “Our record doesn’t really reflect on how our team should be.”

With last years record of 4-5, Richart believes the problems they had last year carried over to this year but so did the strengths in their chemistry.

“We had a lot of team chemistry when we did work together,” Richart said. “Last year we had the same problem- we had a lot of potential but couldn’t convert and win a lot of our close games.”

As most people would wish for their team, junior wide receiver Caleb Lavezzi wishes the season would have ended with a better record.

“It was a decent season,” Lavezzi said. “I wish our record was better though; we should have won a lot more games then we did.”

Coach John Brune chooses to look past the record and would rather focus on how the team played on the field in games. He believes the team was a good competition and put up a good fight all throughout the season.

“I think, similar to last season, we had our high moments and our low moments,” Brune said. “But I think we competed well in just about every game.”
