The Varsity football team will take on Timberland at 7 p.m. on August 26. This is the Knights’ first game they will be playing at Timberland.
“This is my first game as a varsity player because I was hurt last season, which didn’t allow me to play, so this game is really important to me because I have a lot to prove,” offense/deffense lineman Andrew Smith said .
This match-up gives the Knights get a great opportunity to jump start the season since it is their first game of the 2011 campaign.
“Since this is our first game, it sets the tone for the entire season and it shows how hard we have worked,” left tackle Jake Hurrell said.
