Knights look to recover from rough start against Troy

The Varsity Football team will compete against Troy in their fourth conference game on Oct. 7.

“It’s going to be a close game because we’re both struggling teams,” Sophomore linemen Danny Goggin said.

The game will be held at FHN, and will start at 7:00 pm.

“I think [the game’s] going to go well,” Junior linemen, Kyle Thompson said. “Our practices have been really good this week so far.”

Friday’s game will be the fourth of seven conference games the Knights will participate in. These seven games will determine if the Knights will play at Districts.

“I need my team to step up during the first half,” Senior running back Terron Givans said. “[I need them] to hold it down for me.”
