Senior forward, Keegan Fouch has shot and scored three goals over the last three games, one against each of their previous opponents. Fouch is the leading scorer for the Varsity soccer team.
Last week, the Varsity boy’s soccer team fell short to Summit high school losing 1-3. However, the Knights swept Windsor high school (6-0), and Pattonville high school (5-0) to finish off the Parkway Tournament.
“I feel good about scoring the goals,” Fouch said. “I wouldn’t have done it without the teammates.”
The Knights face off against Troy for their home opener on 9/11, and travel to Marquette on 9/12. Last year, the Knights lost both of their games against the two teams.
“They are both gonna be tough games,” Fouch said. “If we play the best of our abilities, I think we should do fine.”
According to Fouch, the teams need to keep training hard and stay focused on the task at hand every time they step out on the field, if they want to keep their winning record.
“We need to fight through these next two games if we want to keep are streak alive,” Fouch said.
