“When they called the ‘Homecoming Special’ my heart stopped beating because the moment was finally there when I was going to get my first varsity touchdown ,” Gianopolis said. “When I got the touchdown it didn’t feel real at all, I thought I was going to wake up from a dream.”

Throughout the first quarter the game was scoreless. The Knights had made it into the endzone, but there was a flag on the play and the touchdown was revoked. During the second quarter, the Knights’ running back, Elijiah Keely, made a 13 yard run into the endzone giving the Knights the lead, 7-0. Towards the end of the quarter the Knights scored again. At the start of the second half the Trojans attempted to make a run but was stopped by the defense. Three minutes into the the quarter the Knights’ running back , D.J. Curtis had a 13 yard run into the endzone for another touchdown. Knights lead 21-0. The Trojans couldn’t break the Knights’ defense and they could not score. Halfway through the fourth quarter the Trojans still didn’t score. When the Knights were on offense Lieser finds tight end, A.J. Schultze for a seven yard touchdown.
