The girls tennis season ended with a record of 7-9 and they had a fifth place finish at the GAC South tournament where four girls medaled.

“This team made me so proud,” coach Samantha Soltysiak said. “They worked so hard all season long.”

The girls tennis season ended on Oct. 4 with a tough loss against Francis Howell High 5-0.

“It was not the best day,” senior Jayati Karre said. “But I had a really fun season with my team.”

The team has five seniors who played their final season of tennis.

“It was a fun season, I am really going to miss it,” Karre said. “I will miss playing with the team and having fun with them.”
