On Jan. 30, the JV Lady Knights basketball team battled against the Pattonville Pirates. Unfortunately, even after a little comeback, the Lady Knights lost with a score of 30-45. This loss will help them in practice for their next win.
“We are talking about moving the ball up the court a little bit better and crisper passes,” the coach Dan Lamb said. “Our speed looked really good tonight. The girls played tough and hard and they didn’t give up.”
The score at the end of the first quarter was 6-13. The score at the end of the 2nd quarter was 14-28. The score at the end of the 3rd quarter was 17-39.
“I think we really kept the intensity up the entire game,” sophomore Corinne Stevens said.
The JV girls next game is on Tuesday, Feb. 2. They will face off against the Francis Howell Central Spartans at 4. The game is at Francis Howell Central. (Photos by Kyra Peper and Abby Temper)
