FHN Students Donate Supplies for a Good Cause

Madi Shinault and Lupe Medina

The Nahed Chapman New American Academy is a public school in the St. Louis area that welcomes refugee and immigrant students from over 30 different countries seeking to get an education. They come to the U.S. without any school supplies due to a tight budget. FHN students decided to take charge and organize a supply drive to make an impact on this school. The supply drive took place from March 19th-23rd and over — a variety of items from notebooks to backpacks were raised.
