Varsity softball start districts

Wednesday Oct. 6th varsity softball starts districts. For the first game they will be playing Francis Howell. They will be playing at Francis Howell Central at 4:00 p.m. For districts it is single elimination which means all it takes is for them to lose one and the season is over.

“Our record is 13-11 which is right where we want to be going into districts” said Coach Louis.

“ I’m not worried about that though because if we play the way we have been playing, and as long as we hit the ball and don’t make errors then we stand a good chance to win.” said Junior Megan Burleigh. Since they have played Howell twice already and unfortunately lost both times they will want to win this game more than any other game they have played this season.

“I am pumped to be playing Howell because I love competition and there will be tons of competition playing them and hopefully this time we will pull out a win” said Junior Megan Burleigh.
