Friday Sept. 30, FHN’s Varsity boys Soccer team faces Parkway North. The game against Parkway was meant to be played on Sept. 1 but was postponed. Tomorrow’s game will take place at 4:00. This will be the Knights’ 11th game this season.
” Tomorrow I think we should win because we have a really good chance and are coming off with a win from our last game ” says Varsity player Jason Michalski. ” A win tomorrow would put us onto a win streak and boost our confidence… The game plan is usually just to concentrate well and focus”.
Fans are confident in the Knights ability to beat Parkway, citing offensive superiority as the main advantage.
“Parkway North doesn’t stand a chance against us,” Eric Krause said. “Our offense is the best of the best.”
However, the Knights have played eleven games so far this season and have won only three games. Only seven games remain between now and the District tournament on Oct. 29.
“We have two very good playing captains in Samm Worsley and Alex Bolte and the rest of the seniors such as Adam Voss and Nathan Terry who act as leaders,” Michalski said. “When it comes down to it, we all work together to fight for the win.”
