Brianna Fupel (Freshman)

Cross Country

Cross Country runner, Brianna Fupel, thinks that high school sports are harder then sports she has played out side of school. She believes it is more training and they have practice more then her other sports. Her favorite thing about running cross country is that she gets to be with friends everyday. Next year Fupel hopes to improve her times so that she will make varsity.

Nate Schuler (Freshman)

Boys Soccer

Freshman Nate Schuler tried out for boys soccer this year thinking it was going to be easier then it actually was, but he enjoys what he does. With practice everyday he has gotten to know more people. His goals for next year are to make JV.

Yuri Takenaka (Freshman)

Girls Tennis

Yuri Takenaka enjoys high school tennis more then her competitive league because it is not as much pressure and it is more fun. She thinks that during high school tennis you must think about the team more then yourself. Next year she hopes to make it to state.

Mikayla Theros (Freshman)

Softball

High school softball is more competitive Mikaya Theros thinks. She says her favorite thing about it is being able to play everyday because she gets to do something she enjoys. Theros goals for next year are to make JV.

Rachel Creeley (Freshman)

Girls Volleyball

Rachel Creeley isn’t thinking for herself when it comes to volleyball. She hopes that next year. as the season goes on, the team becomes one. She loves that the volleyball team is a family this year. She thinks high school sports are different then club sports because everyone comes to the games to cheer them on and support them.

Avery Bond (freshman)

Boys Swimming

Avery Bond’s favorite thing about high school sports is being able to hang out with the team everyday. Other sports have practice one or two nights a week but with high school swim it is every night. Bond hopes that by next season he can drop ten seconds off his 100 meter freestyle.

Taylor Johnson (Freshman)

Girls’ Golf

Freshman Taylor Johnson hopes by next year she can move up to the number five spot on varsity girls golf. She enjoys being apart of the team and she has made a lot of friends because of golf. She things that high school sports are more fun then competitive because you get to see your team everyday.
