Anthony Kristensen (Freshman)(fr) Anthony Kristensen copy

Freshman Boys’ Soccer

Anthony Kristensen believes that the team’s biggest rival is Howell or Central because their players don’t like North’s and the Knights’ players don’t like them. In their last game, there were a lot of arguments about calls, according to Kristensen. When the boys played Central, they won both games 8-1. Against Howell, they lost, but Kristensen believes that Howell is a beatable team and the boys just need to play the ball around quicker in order to beat them.

Bree Eimer (Freshman)

Freshman Girls’ Volleyball

Bree Eimer thinks that the girls’ biggest rival is Howell because they’re the team that challenges them the most. When the team played Howell, they lost, but Eimer believes the score was close. In order to win next year, Eimer recommends that the girls keep practicing and work harder.

Eva Tilley (Sopomore)

JV Girls’ Tennis

Eva Tilley believes team’s biggest rival is Howell because they’re the best, and the girls want to beat Howell more than any other team. When the girls played Howell, they did pretty well, Tilley believes. In order to improve for the next year, Tilley thinks the girls should practice a lot, and expect that Howell will have the same amount of skill in the way their girls play.

Ben Moxley (Sopohmore)

Varsity Boys’ Swimming

Benbelieves that the team’s biggest rival is either Central or Howell because it’s always been that way. According to Moxley, the boys did well against these teams in their last competition. Moxley said the boys gave their all and still lost, but did well overall. He thinks that if all of the freshmen that have done so well this year come back, the season next year will be strong.

Jessica Moceri (Senior)

Varsity Sofball

The Varsity Softball team’s biggest rival is Central according to senior Jessica Moceri. Central is their biggest rival because the teams usually play a close game, and Central is a sister school. When North last played Central, they lost; however, Moceri believes the girls could do better next year if they practice more and work on hitting.

Thomas Wersching (Junior)

Varsity Football

Varsity Football player Thomas Wersching say that the team’s biggest rival is Central because it’s a Howell school and it’s been a tradition to compete against the Spartans. In their last game, the boys lost to Central, but Wersching believes they can do better next year if the team works harder at practices.

Julz Kaminiski

Varsity Girls’ Golf

Julz Kaminiski, a Varsity Girls’ Golf player, believes that Timberland is their biggest rival because they have five girls shooting in the 40 and that’s where North is trying to get its team to go. The team has already played Timberland once and were beat by 11 strokes. The girls hope to beat them next time. Kaminiski thinks that getting all of the girls under 50 will help the team beat Timberland.

Emily Gast (Junior)

JV Girls Cross Country

Junior Emily Gast of the JV Girls’ Cross Country team believes that their biggest rival is Central because there’s always that rivalry between North and Central in every sport, so trying to be better than them is something the girls try to do every month. According to Gast, North’s team beats a majority of girls at Central. In order to keep doing well against their biggest rival, Gast think the girls need to try to start out fast and work harder on hills.
