“We played great,” senior Drew Baker said. “We just need to work on finishing our shots and protecting our goal.”

The team played their third game of the season. The boys have now lost two and won one.

“The game could have gone either way,” senior Ethan Hussey said. “We played hard and fought the whole time.”

Although the boys wished for a different outcome of the game they are still proud they played hard and stayed in the game the whole 90 minutes.

“They are tough competition,” Hussey said. “Every game we have played against CBC since I have been on varsity has been a one or two goal game so we usually play to their level and can compete with them every year.”

According to some of the players, they have had a lot of people sitting out and a few injuries so far this season which was not very beneficial on their part tonight.

“Our team is inexperienced,” Hussey said. “We could have won if all our players were not injured.”

The team will use this game as motivation for the rest of the season. They are proud of the way they played but said they still need to work on things. They are looking to come out and win their next game.

“We were just very unlucky,” junior Chris Oswald said. “I think we were the better team out there today. We worked hard and played as a team, we were looking for a different outcome but we learned from the silly mistakes in this game and we will try not to make the same ones next game.”
