Varsity Soccer vs FHHS
On Tuesday September 15, the varsity soccer team will face FHHS in Wentzville. The Knights are 2-4-1 this season, but don’t let the record fool you, FHN has had a very impressive season so far. They lost in overtime to a very good DeSmet team, and only gave up one goal to a CBC team that features a player on the U.S. U-17 team. FHHS is 3-3, but have not played the same caliber of teams as North has. This will be the Knights third big game in a row following the CBC and Desmet games. I expect the Knights to prove that they’re better than their record and at least tie the Vikings.
Varsity Tennis Senior Night vs FHC
Also on Tuesday the varsity girls tennis team will have their senior night against the FHC Spartans. The tennis team is having another stellar season with only one loss in all the matches they’ve played. This has been the trend under coach Kate Kleiber, who hasn’t had a losing season in her tenure at FHN. The Knights look to again capture the GAC championship, something that these seniors know how to do. 8 out of the 12 players on varsity are seniors. Definitely go see these senior’s last home match and the alwats touching senior night ceremony.
Varsity Volleyball vs Kirkwood
On Monday, Sept. 14, the varsity volleyball team will play at Kirkwood. The varsity volleyball team is quietly having a solid season, with only two losses so far. But you’re probably wondering why you should drive all the way out to Kirkwood on a Monday night? You really shouldn’t. I mean come on there’s Monday Night Football, but since you’re so full of school spirit and you broke your TV getting mad at the Rams inevitable week one loss, you should download the WatchESPN app and go to the volleyball game.
