Coming off their game on March 25, with a win over the Warrenton Warriors with a score of 25-19, 25-14 the JV Boys Volleyball team shows no sign of stopping. This gives the Knights a perfect record of 5-0.
“It was a rough start but once we started playing as a team we improved and came out with a win,” freshman Gabe Grote said.
The team’s dedication and hard work has come off in their record but it’s a team effort.
“We play great as a team,” sophomore Ethan Bond said. “We don’t have one player that thinks he’s better than everyone else.”
The knights tackle their next opponents the De Smet Spartans tonight at De Smet at 5 O’ clock. The team predicts yet another victory.
“I think tonight’s game is going to be tough but if we work together as team we can get it done,” sophomore Logan Bergman said.
The knights have high expectations for this season and have set high goals.
“We want to work on our perfect record and see if we can keep that alive by working together as a team,” Bergman said.
