On March 25 the JV Boys Volleyball team played their first game of the season against FZN. The first point of the game was scored by Jake Oppenborn when he tipped the ball over the net and FZN failed to get it back over. The first set ended with FHN winning with a score of 25-19.
“We played great as a team. It was a great first win. I’m exited to play for my own grade,” says sophomore Chase Powelson.
The second set started with fhn getting the first point. We also won this set so we did not have to go into a third.
“We started off slow in the beginning, but I think as we got our heads in the game we started to have fun and play well together,” says sophomore Landon Porter. “I’m looking forward to having tournaments on the weekends so that we can spend the whole day playing volleyball and get the win.”
