Parker Kilen, Web staffer
Parker Kilen is a senior at Francis Howell North High School and is a part of the Newspaper staff for the 2020-21 school year. This is Kilen’s first year on Newspaper staff, his previous 2 years that he has done publications he was on web staff, and Kilen is now entering his third year of publications as the Sports Editor for newspaper.
In his time at FHN in publications, Kilen has written a lot of sports stories. He has been and still will be an announcer on the livestream team. Kilen is also a member of the cross country and distance track team at Francis Howell North, and is also in the marching and jazz band and plays the saxophone.
Kilen took intro to journalism during his freshman year and really enjoyed it, after that he knew he would love to be a member of the journalism program at FHN, and he definitely has. Post high school, Kilen isn’t totally sure what career he wants to pursue but is definitely considering a career in journalism. But as of now, Kilen hopes to write great stories, make great memories, help produce great livestreams, and for him and his fellow staffers to have a great year in the FHN journalism program and do great things while in it as well.
