Wrestling

The wrestling team has not had their first match but it is coming up on Dec. 4. Junior Sam Ritchie is nervous because the team is playing Timberland who is ranked number two in the state. Last year the team had a full line up of seniors and with all of them gone it leaves the team with young inexpierced wrestlers. The team is has been conditioning a lot to try to compete with Timberland.

Jessie Moceri (Senior)

Girls Basketball

The girls varsity basketball team hosted their first ever Jamboree playing against three other teams to kick off their season. After winning two and losing one game to SCW,  senior Jessie Moceri thinks they played fairly well. She says the team realized what they actually needed to work on like rebounds and playing as a team. She hopes by next game they can get everything together and win the first game of their season.

Marco Plaza (Senior)

Boys Basketball

Similar to the girls, the boys basketball team also had a Jamboree showcasing the team this year. They played two games where they won both of them. Senior  Marco Plaza was very impressed with the team and thinks the offense did a really good job. Plaza wants to work on his dribbling skills by next game so that he can go out and help the team the best he can.

Jessie Walker (Senior)

Bowling

The bowling team has had multiple matches this year and have been improving every time according to senior Jessie Walker. She beleives if the team works on their attendence they will start to perform better because when everyone is there they have a tendency to do well. Walker thinks she can improve her score by picking up some spares.

Megan Hampson (Senior)

Girls  Swim

Senior Megan Hampson thinks the swim team is looking okay this year but she worries they might not have enough expierence yet. With their first meet coming up on Dec. 9, she hopes eveyrone listens to the coaches advice and does what they need to do. Hampson thinks this season will be the best season she has ever had before.

 

Cody Pingleton (Senior)

Hockey

Senior Cody Pingleton thinks the boys ice hockey team played bad the first game of their season. The team played Eurkea and lost 4-1. He thinks the team needs to try harder and he himself needs to put more effort into it. He thinks if they practice and try really hard they can bounce back and sta
