Megan Hampson (Girls Swimming)
Senior Megan Hampson has been working to get to state her 4 years of highschool and tonight is her last chance. Tonight, Thursday Feb. IMG_998613, Megan has gotten into finals in the 200 medley relay, 200 free, 100 back, and 400 free relay. She is 3 seconds off for state in the 100 back and has high hopes. “It’s always a possibility! I’ve been working really hard all these years,” Megan said in regards to making state. Since this is Hampson’s senior year, it is bitter sweet for her because this is her last GAC’s. “I’m going to miss everything. It’s my last season so I’ll miss all the girls ever on the team, the coaches, my friends on other teams, the workout, swimming, racing, A lot,” Hampson said.

Megan Hamelback (Girls Basketball)
Freshman Megan Hamelback’s favorite part about basketball is playing with all her teammates. They just recently finished their GAC’s and placed 5th overall, and have their final game tonight against Troy. Hamelback believes they had a pretty good season. “We had a couple games that weren’t very good, but over all we played a good season and we worked really hard,” Megan said.

Brice Perry (Boys Basketball)
Freshman Brice Perry has been recovering from an injury he had earlier in the season. His favorite part about basketball is working with all his teammates and to try to get a victory. He believes he could have done better by making better shots, less turnovers, and assisitng his team. “I say our season went good considering this is the first time we have played as a team,” Brice said.

Nick Gehricke (Bowling)
Sophomore Nick Gehricke loves bowling for the dynamics of the game, and just for the pure pleasure of competing. Gehricke is new to bowling, he has only been playing for a few months. The team has been doing pretty well for only playing games on Sundays. “We just show up for game time on Sundays and work it out then,” Gehricke said in response to how they have been preparing for their upcoming tournament.

Chris bounds (Wrestling)
Sophomore Chris Bounds thinks he has done pretty well this season. With districts coming up on Friday, Bounds has been working hard to try to make state. “It’s a tough bracket but I’m going to try my hardest to make it,” Bounds said. Chris said the thing he will miss most in the offseason, is the enviroment and the intensity of all the tournaments.
