The Francis Howell North boys basketball C-Team competed against Fort Zumwalt West on Jan. 12 at home.
“I think we did a really great job on defense,” said freshman Josh Wagner.
The Knights were losing to West 26-14 at the end of the first half but caught up in the third quarter making the score 33-28 with North in the lead. By the fourth quarter the Knights were up by two points with a minute to go. FHN ended up taking the win with a final score of 42-36.
“We had a lot of effort and heart in the game at the end. We beat them by 17 points last time so I think we walked out thinking they would just lay down but realized we had to work for it,” said Coach Beville. (photos by ashton stegman)
