9-1 JV Softball vs. Timberland

The Francis Howell North JV softball team competed against Timberland on Sept. 1 at FHN. The Knights were winning 2-1 by the end of the first inning. Half way through the top of the second, the Wolves scored another run making the score tied at 2-2. By the bottom of the third, the Knights had the lead with a score of 8-3. “We had great batting and we started off really strong,” junior Kama Struckhoff said. By the bottom of the fifth inning, the Knights had gotten even more ahead with a score of 12-3. The Wolves scored one last run in the last inning, making the final score 12-4. “We hit really well throughout the entire game and we never let down,” sophomore Janae Watkins said.
